FBO

An FBO (fixed base operator), also known as an exclusive terminal for private flights, is a space that offers two key services in executive aviation.

SouthAmerican Company Group directly or indirectly performs all the service related to the FBO, so that both its passengers and its aircraft will be served with quality, care and professionalism. Below are the services we can provide in most locations.

Pre-Arrival:

Our customer service representatives constantly monitor all air-to-ground communications, using any airport frequency. We check our local database system to identify customer preferences and any anticipated requests. Customer service representatives are notified of arrival times and service requests.

Arrival:

After guiding the incoming flight to a complete stop, Allied's line service personnel will place the wheel chocks to ensure the aircraft does not move. Safety cones will also be strategically placed around the wings, engines, nose and tail. We place a red carpet at the top of the aircraft stairs for passengers and crew members getting off the aircraft. Once passengers have disembarked, customer service representatives will unload luggage and assist crew members with any delivery tasks. At this point, we transfer our guests to the General Aviation Terminal, where they can use the facility and receive the following services:

  • Reception with red carpet treatment for passengers and crew
  • Assistance with parking, luggage and cargo
  • Hangar/berth space
  • Bus courtesy of the provider
  • Assistance and coordination of hotel reservations and car rentals
  • Contracted fueling services
  • courtesy cars
  • lavatory services
  • aircraft cleaning
  • Facilitation of aircraft maintenance through another provider
  • Compressed air/nitrogen/oxygen services
  • Common Aircraft Lubricants
  • comfortable passenger room
  • Complete business facilities with conference room
  • Assistance for departure passengers, luggage and cargo
  • Rest room for pilots with showers
  • Access to weather information services, to receive weather forecasts and current weather
  • Flight planning services
  • Full access to the Internet, television, telephone, facsimile, copier and business services
  • Vending machines and hot and cold drinks
  • aircraft positioning
  • aircraft relocation
  • Aircraft ground propulsion

Departure:

Line service personnel will assist in chock and engine cover removal and guide all departing aircraft. The aircraft will not be able to move until technicians have verified that this is safely possible.
